When I Was A Child...

From earliest memory, the sheer joy of reading gave me goosebumps!  From the crown of my head to the tip of my toes, I'd get a huge thrill thinking of the unknown adventures that lay ahead as I opened up a new or well-loved book.

Our mother read to us every day, television was not a big priority on our home, and so we learned to use our imaginations in ways that most children today miss out on.

I am still an ardent reader, though not just fiction fills my bookcases nowadays, as technical and informational books round out my reading lists.  Reading is a key to knowledge, and without knowledge, we cannot make informed, rational and heartfelt choices that affect our daily lives.

I will be reviewing books on this site - both physical editions, and digital works...ie books for the Kindle.

And I would like to share some of my own writing with my readers; as I plan to publish with Amazon Kindle books in the future.

So now you know why I think reading rocks...leave a comment and tell me why you love to read.

Cheers
